DESCRIPTION:Lipton Challenge Cup\n\nThe prestigious Lipton Challenge Cup returns to the shores of Cape Town for a celebration of maritime excellence and community spirit.\nThis year the historic regatta is back for it’s 71st edition and draws over 20 coastal sailing clubs from Cape Town, False Bay, Simon’s Town, Hermanus, Saldanha Bay, Gqeberha, and Kwa-Zulu Natal among others.\nThe local favourite Royal Cape Yacht Club, with the most wins of any club within South Africa, is the reigning champions and host for 2025.\nThis year also marks a bold new chapter with the introduction of the J22 class, opening the doors to include more clubs, more sailors, and a more accessible and competitive one-design racing experience.
