A GUIDE TO THE CAPE TOWN 10s
Six sports, live entertainment, incredible hospitality and raising funds for charity. The question is not what you can do at Cape Town 10s but what is it that you can’t do at Cape Town 10s.
The biggest social sports festivals returns to this Mother City from 1 to 3 February 2024 for a weekend of team sports and all-round fun. This year’s Cape Town 10s will feature rugby, netball, dodgeball, padel and water polo.
The event is also partnering with Icon Oncology and Life HealthCare for the Lace Up for Cancer 2024, a 5km run in aid of the Association of Palliative Care Centres and Cancer Alliance.
WHAT IS THE CAPE TOWN 10s?
Cape Town 10s is a multi-sporting code event which takes place annually, featuring over 300 teams and 6000 participants. First held in 2008, the event started out as a rugby-only event but has since evolved into a multi-sport affair including netball, beach volleyball, dodgeball, hockey, football, running and water polo.
The event also features 15 lives music acts on 3 stages, taking place after a day of team sports.
Over 20 000 people attend the event over two days.
WHERE DOES THE EVENT TAKE PLACE?
The Green Point Common fields are the playground for the biggest social sports party in the Mother City. This is where you will find the rugby, netball, dodgeball and padel games. It is also where the party will go down once the games end and the sun goes down.

Water polo games take place at the Sea Point Swimming Pool from Thursday 1 February.
WHO IS PERFORMING AT THE 10s IN 2024?
When all the games are done and the sun goes down, the party animals come out. Every year, the Cape Town 10s music line-up never disappoints. This year, 15 music acts including rock band Spoegwolf, Fokofpolisiekar, Jack Parow and DJ PH will entertain the crowd on Friday 2 February and Saturday 3 February 2024.
