Cape Town Carnival
The Cape Town Carnival sets the streets of the Mother City alive with colourful and vibrant massive floats, costumes, and performers from different communities across Cape Town attracting thousands of locals and visitors.
By bringing together some of the very best performers and artists, this spectacle cultivates and sustains local participation in arts and culture, while showcasing creativity, encouraging celebration, and boosting tourism.
This year’s theme is Follow Your HEART and will feature some exciting special guests! Watch this space.
The colourful celebration of the city’s rich cultural heritage is the perfect way to enjoy the last sunny days of Cape Town’s incredible summers before getting cosy for the winter months.
The carnival is a feast for all your the senses and is the perfect family-friendly jol.
It’s a full day out so you can also indulge in delicious treats from the food stalls and beer garden.
