Get pumped for a city-wide celebration as cyclists journey around the Cape Peninsula for the Cape Town Cycle Tour.
There will be hills, wind and moments when you question your life choices. Then a stranger will cheer you on, the view will open up and you’ll keep going.
Every year, around 30 000 cyclists line up for the flagship 109km route and the 42km route.
The route boasts Cape Town’s natural beauty and includes an iconic view along Chapman’s Peak Drive.
For every level of rider, racing along streets and roads packed with crowds enhances the Cycle Tour experience, giving the event a truly thrilling atmosphere.
Join in on the GEES from the sidelines too and head to the spectator spots at Wynberg Hill, anywhere along the M3; particularly towards Tokai, and the seaside locations of Muizenberg and Kalk Bay, Noordhoek Farm Village, Hout Bay, Suikerbossie and the home stretch through Camps Bay are all excellent locations for a day of Cycle Tour watching!
