DHL Stormers XXIII vs Sharks XV

The South African coastal derby returns to the Mother City this winter as one of the Currie Cup’s fiercest rivalries is renewed.

Round 3 of the world’s oldest domestic rugby competition will see the DHL Stormers XXIII take on the Sharks XV at DHL Stadium.

The home side will be aiming to repeat their success from the SA Rugby Under-23 Cup coastal derby in April, when the DHL Stormers XXIII defeated the Sharks U23.

The rivalry between these two unions stretches back more than a century, with countless iconic encounters helping to define the rich history of South African rugby.
