The Global Entrepreneurship Congress Africa (GEC+Africa) is a leading entrepreneurship gathering that brings together entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and ecosystem leaders from across Africa and around the world. Launched in 2017, the event serves as a platform to foster innovation, investment, collaboration, and business growth across the continent. Hosted in Cape Town in 2024, GEC+Africa welcomed approximately 2,000 delegates from 70 countries, featuring 226 speakers and 62 breakout sessions focused on unlocking Africa’s entrepreneurial potential and shaping the future of business on the continent.
