Langa Festive Lights Switch On

The Mother City’s beloved annual tradition welcomes the start of the summer and festive season and this year it’s coming to Langa.

As an extension of the City’s annual Festive Lights Switch On, this event brings the festive spirit directly into the heart of Langa.

The Langa Festive Lights Switch-On 2025 unites the community with live entertainment, dazzling lighting displays, and a powerful theme of “United in Hope,” creating a celebration the city can be proud of year after year. Designed to grow into a flagship cultural event, it aims to be inclusive, tourism-friendly, and economically uplifting while showcasing the spirit and talent of Langa.

Host Lebo K will keep the energy flowing along with the the incredible line-up featuring Cairo CPT as the headliner, DJ Styles, DJ Mr Brooks, and DJ Chason spinning on the decks and Vond Kemp, Millicent Malazi, Sakhe the Conqueror, Fancy Galada, Shadley and Band, and Simulation take to the stage to keep the vibes going.
