Langa LGBTQI+ Pride 2026

Langa LGBTQI+ Pride returns for its third edition, bringing together community members, allies, and visitors for a day of celebration, visibility, and unity.

The event kicks off with a vibrant Pride March through the streets of Langa, creating a colourful and uplifting display of pride while advocating for equality, inclusion, and human rights.

Visitors will also enjoy a full programme of live entertainment on the main stage, including performances by local DJs, singers, poets, dancers, and other artists showcasing the township’s rich creative talent.

Community and wellness stalls will offer health information, HIV awareness resources and support services, while a candlelight remembrance will provide a moment to honour those lost to hate crimes and discrimination.

Under the theme “Reclaiming Dignity, Culture and Belonging for LGBTQI+ People in our Communities“, Langa LGBTQI+ Pride is a blend of celebration, reflection, and community connection.
