Mitchells Plain Festive Lights Switch On

The Mother City’s beloved annual tradition welcomes the start of the summer and festive season and this year after 10 years, the festive sparkle returns to Mitchells Plain

As Mitchells Plain prepares to celebrate its 50th anniversary, Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis will officially light up the neighbourhood at this special open-air community event.

Expect delicious food stalls and a family-friendly atmosphere perfect for a night out with loved ones and community spirit.

Wayne McKay will host an with the incredible line-up featuring Ricky Vanni Frontline, Vortex Dance Crew, Jodie Jantjies and band, DJ Chello, Young OG CPT and many more.
