Run4Freedom

The Run4Freedom brings together runners, families and the broader community in celebration of Freedom Day through sport and unity.

Hosted by Langa Athletic Club, this exciting event features a competitive 10km race and a 6km Fun Run that take runners on a historic journey through Langa, one of Cape Town’s oldest townships. 

The race is run in accordance with the rules of ASA and WPA, with prize money awarded across various age categories for men and women, including juniors and veterans.

Medals will be awarded to the first 1,300 finishers in the 10km and the first 500 finishers in the 6km.

With cash prizes, team awards, tog bag facilities, and a vibrant race-day atmosphere, Run4Freedom promises a professionally organised and community-driven experience that promotes healthy living, inclusivity and excellence in sport.
