Wings for Life World Run
The Wings for Life Foundation supports research projects and clinical studies around the world. Our main goal: Finding a cure for spinal cord injury. The Wings for Life World Run is helping to achieve that goal.
This race is unique – at the Wings for Life World Run, all participants start on Sunday 5 May at the same time, worldwide at 1pm (11UTC) virtually via the App. It doesn’t matter whether you are a professional athlete, a fun runner or a total beginner. There is no finish line. Instead, 30 minutes after the start a virtual Catcher Car begins pursuit, passing the runners one after the other.
We have an organised App Run Event in Green Point, in addition to the Individual App Run. Round up your family and friends and come and join us on Sunday 5 May.
