CELL C CAPE TOWN OPEN
Royal Cape Golf Club | 6 – 9 February 2025
The Mother City’s premier golf tournament, the Cell C Cape Town Open returns for its 13th edition at the stunning Royal Cape Golf Club.
Teeing off on Thursday 7 February with more than 150 of the world’s top golfers, the tournament runs until Sunday, 9 February.
Entry is free for spectators, making it an unmissable event for golf enthusiasts.
MAYNARDVILLE OPEN AIR FESTIVAL
Maynardville Theatre, Wynberg | February 2025
For lovers of theatre and live performances, the Maynardville Open Air Festival offers a rich and diverse cultural experience.
This iconic festival, one of Cape Town’s oldest, spans three months and includes an exciting program with classic Shakespeare plays, beautiful symphonies by the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra, a Chamber Music Concert and a special performance by Cape Town Opera.

CAPE TOWN CITY FC IN BETWAY PREMIERSHIP
vs Lamontville Golden Arrows at Athlone Stadium | 6 February 2025
Cape Town City FC will be looking to continue their push for the top spots Betway Premiership log when they go Lamontville Golden Arrows at Athlone Stadium.
As part of the #FreeFootballforAll initiative, the first 10,000 spectators can enjoy free access to the match, making it an event everyone can enjoy.
Spectators can collect tickets from Cape Town City FC’s offices, at 54 Shortmarket Street on Greenmarket Square the week of the game or at the ticket booth at the Athlone Stadium on game day.
Kickoff is at 19:30.
vs Chippa United at Athlone Stadium | 18 February
The Citizens will also lock horns with Eastern Cape-based Chipper United in Athlone this month.
The game also forms part of the #FreeFootballforAll initiative, a partnership between Cape Town City FC and the City of Cape Town.
DHL STORMERS VS VODACOM BULLS
DHL Stadium | 8 February 2025
The biggest rivalry in South African rugby between the DHL Stormers and Vodacom Bulls comes to DHL Stadium on Saturday, February 8.
The North-South showdown always produces fireworks on the field and provides a spectacular atmosphere for fans.
The United Rugby Championship clash is scheduled for a 14:00 kickoff with gates at DHL Stadium opening at 11:00.

GRYPHON 99ER CYCLE TOUR
Durbanville Sports Grounds | 8 February 2025
On Saturday February 8, the 26th edition of the 99er Cycle Tour will officially get the cycling season into gear with over 3 500 cyclists.
Cyclists will tackle various distances, including 95km, 80km, 76km, and 45km, as they ride through scenic routes from Durbanville through Fisantekraal, Philadelphia, and Malmesbury.
Whether you’re riding or cheering from the sidelines, this event is sure to impress.
KIRSTENBOSCH SUMMER SUNSET CONCERT
Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden | 9 February 2025
Cap off the exciting weekend with a stunning performance by Matthew Mole at the Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concert on Sunday, February 9.
The concert will begin at 17:05, but the gates open at 16:00, giving concertgoers plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Kirstenbosch.

The Summer concerts series will also deliver a xxx through the ages with performances Golden Oldies on 16 February.
This brainchild of Cape Town theater legend Terry Fortune, features South African music legends.

The 11th edition of the Standard Bank Ladies Open not only showcases some of the world’s best lady golfers, it also shines the spotlight on a new venues.
The Durbanville Golf Club will host the first time.
The prestigious golf tournament sees over 70 Professional Lady golfers from South Africa and across the globe showcase their best performances on the greens.
Cape Town Ladies Open serves as a platform for amateur and professional golfers to gain international experience on the Professional circuit.
INVESTEC CAPE TOWN ART FAIR

CAPE TOWN PRIDE WEEK

The pride flag will be flying high in Cape Town for the annual Cape Town Pride Festival.
With a series of events at various venues across the city, the Annual LGBTI+ Pride Festival and Parade celebrates the diversity and talents of Cape Town’s community.
The month-long pride festivities culminate in the Cape Town Pride Parade and Mardi Gras on 1 March 2025.
