URC DERBY DOUBLEHEADER FOR STORMERS
The festive season is delivering back-to-back thrilling South African URC fixtures for the DHL Stormers Faithful this December.
The Stormers will face the Emirates Lions and the Hollywoodbets Sharks in URC action on consecutive weekends at DHL Stadium.
First up to visit the Mother City will be fifth-placed Lions on 21 December 2024.
The last time they met in June, the Stormers edged the Lions 29 – 24 to advance to last season’s quarterfinal.
This season, the Lions have been the second-best South African team in the United Rugby Championship, with four wins from six games.
The Stormers will be hoping to recover after back-to-back losses against the Glasgow Warriors and the Sharks in the URC.
A win against the Lions could help the Stormers, currently placed 13th, get closer to the playoff spots.
The game kicks off at 15:45 with gates opening at 12:00.
Tickets for the game are available from as little as R80 at Ticketmaster.
