BAFANA BAFANA AFCON TICKET ON SALE
Tickets for Bafana Bafana’s first match in Cape Town in almost a decade are live.
South African national men’s football team will return to the Mother City for the clash against South Sudan on Tuesday 19 November 2024.
The match against the Bright Stars is the final game of the six-round qualifying for African Cup of Nations Morocco 2025.
Hugo Broos’ team is currently in second place in the qualifying group, just two points behind leader Uganda.
They will be hoping to shore up qualification for the continental tournament. DHL Stadium will play host to what will be Bafana’s final Afcon qualification game.
Tickets costs as little as R60 for adults and R30 for children under 12.
“It will be very special to play our final qualifier of this AFCON campaign at home, in Cape Town. So, we urge the fans to get their tickets and ensure a great atmosphere inside the stadium for the players,” says SAFA President Danny Jordaan.
Tickets are available at any any Ticketpro outlets, SPAR, SUPERSPAR, Putco, Postnet, Jam clothing, Shell, SASOL and BP garages.
CAPE TOWN HOMECOMING
The game will the home tear’s first game in the Mother City since their 2 – 1 win against Angola in an international friendly in 2015.
“We are thrilled to welcome Bafana Bafana back to Cape Town for their Afcon qualifier against South Sudan. Nine years has been far too long without a Bafana Bafana match in the Mother City,” says Cape town Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis.
“We will pull out all the stops to ensure that this is a memorable day for Cape Town’s passionate soccer fans. I urge Capetonians to come out to support our national team. Kickoff is at 18:00, so let’s all get our tickets early, and then turn up in great numbers to support Bafana as they strive to qualify for Morocco 2025.”
The match is scheduled for an 18:00 kick-off, with gates set to open at 15:00.
