Hosted by the Peninsula School Feeding Association (PSFA), is an annual fundraising event to combat childhood hunger at schools in the Western Cape.
Held along Cape Town’s scenic Sea Point Promenade on the last Sunday in August every year, the event offers participants the choice between a 5km or 10km walk, starting and ending at the Green Point Common Sports Ground.
It’s a festive, family-friendly occasion that combines fun, fitness, and philanthropy.
With an entry fee of just R100, each participant helps PSFA provide a nutritious breakfast and lunch to 20 impoverished schoolchildren for a day.
Walkers are treated to live entertainment, medals, refreshments, and prize giveaways, making it a meaningful and enjoyable way to support a vital cause.
